Description

The first news of the parish is from 1025. The church, late Gothic styled, was consecrated in 1539, the date inscribed on the archivolt of the door. The bell tower was built in 1559.

Puig i Cadafalch rebuilds the chapel of the Sacrament in 1897, incorporating modernist elements. During the Civil War the altarpiece of the altar was destroyed, masterpiece of Catalan Gothic architecture, and the Renaissance pulpit and all the other altars.
